My grandmother's story began in July 4th 1920, in Forth Worth Texas. At the age of 5, she embarked on a new adventure with her step mother, leaving behind the familiar sights and sounds of Texas for the promise of a new life in Manuel Doblado, Mexico.

At just 16, she married Ladislao Rangel, a 44 year old man, an older man but filled with a youthful spirit that matched her own. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith and respect. A Flourishing Family As their family grew—Gloria, Guadalupe, Francisco, Jesús, Isabel, Pedro, Socorro, Antonia, Ladislao, and Manuel—so too did their love and resilience. My grandmother's home was always filled with warmth hearth, a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family.

Even in the face of adversity, she remained steadfast a rock upon which we all leaned in times of need. A Legacy of Love and Resilience As I reflect on my grandmother's life, I am struck by the depth of her love and the strength of her spirit.

Despite the challenges she faced, she never wavered in her faith or her commitment to her family. My grandfather, Ladislao, was not only her husband but her partner in every sense of the word and together they built a legacy that will endure for generations to come.
