I was born in Mérida, Yucatán, into a family led by my father, Juan Cardeña, a lawyer by profession, and my mother, Isabel Reséndiz, a woman of great strength and affection. From a young age, my admiration for my father inspired me to dream of becoming a lawyer. However, beyond any profession, I always carried in my heart the desire to build a happy family, filled with love and strong values.
My life took an unexpected turn during the 2020 pandemic. I was 17 years old, spending most of my time at home, facing the uncertainty of that period. I decided to make the most of the time by starting a project I was passionate about: book reviews. My idea was to create a space to share reflections and promote reading. However, the true learning experience came not from the project's success but from my search for tools to promote it. This is how I discovered the world of digital marketing, a field I had never explored before.
Although the book review business didn’t take off, the knowledge I gained in digital marketing changed my life. I decided to put what I had learned to use by finding clients who needed support for their own projects. My first client was an Italian who not only trusted me but, upon seeing himself reflected in my enthusiasm and dedication, decided to mentor me. To this day, he remains a guiding figure in my professional journey.
My love story began long before I truly understood what love was. I met my wife in preschool, though our paths separated for a while. It wasn’t until secondary school that our lives crossed again, and at that moment, I knew she was the woman I wanted to share my life with. Her presence has been a beacon of support and motivation every step of the way, both personally and professionally.
My values have always been my compass. The Catholic and Apostolic faith is the foundation upon which I have built my life. This faith not only guides my decisions but also inspires me to work with honesty, dedication, and love for what I do.
Today, my life is filled with projects that reflect my passions and the lessons I’ve learned: from my marketing agency, Acutis, to a New York-style dark kitchen bakery called The Fifth Cake - NY BakeShop. Each venture serves as a reminder that challenges are opportunities to grow. Beyond business, my greatest achievement is my family, with whom I share the aspiration of living in our own home, guided by our spirituality and always striving for happiness.
My vision for the future is simple yet powerful: to be an example of love, faith, and hard work, leaving a legacy of values for my children and contributing, in my own way, to building a better world.
